Erica has been practicing public interest environmental law since 2022, joining Kampmeier & Knutsen as an associate attorney in 2024. She is committed to providing high-quality legal representation and is passionate about conservation issues impacting the Pacific Northwest and its communities.
Erica graduated from the University of Washington School of Law with high honors and a Concentration in Environmental Law. During law school, Erica was vice president of the Environmental Law Society, a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society, a Managing Editor for Washington Law Review, and worked with several environmental nonprofits, including Earthjustice and Crag Law Center. At the conclusion of her legal studies, she worked as the Diehl Clinical Fellow in Environmental Law with the University of Washington School of Law’s Regulatory Environmental Law & Policy Clinic.
Erica has worked with diverse clients on an array of environmental law issues at different stages of litigation. She has fervently advocated on behalf of organizations to protect endangered species and forests in the PNW, and to hold parties accountable for protecting public health and the environment. Erica has experience with several state and federal environmental statutes, including the Endangered Species Act, Administrative Procedure Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, National Environmental Policy Act, land use laws, and more.
Erica is admitted to practice in the state of Washington and in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Washington and the Eastern District of Washington. For fun, she enjoys running, hiking and playing with her two dogs, reading, cooking, crocheting, being outside, and exploring the PNW.
