Mariah joined Kampmeier & Knutsen as an associate attorney in 2022 after graduating summa cum laude from Vermont Law School. During law school, Mariah served as a Policy Research Intern at Audubon Vermont and clerked at Our Children’s Trust and Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger. Additionally, she attended COP26 as a student delegate and served as the Events Coordinator of the Environmental Law Society.
Mariah is admitted to practice in the State of Washington and the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington.
Mariah grew up in Kentucky, where she cultivated a passion for climate advocacy while working with grassroots organizations. She graduated magna cum laude from Centre College with a major in Environmental Studies and minor in Philosophy. After college, Mariah spent a year traveling Asia and Eastern Europe and another year working for environmental advocacy groups in Australia.
In her free time, Mariah forages wild mushrooms and plants, rockhounds, gardens, and attends live music shows.
